Albireo Imma (アルビレオ・イマ Arubireo Ima?) is a character of UQ Holder! series. He is one of the returning characters from Negima!.
Appearance[]
Despite being a relatively long-lived man, Albireo has the appearance of a youthful man in early adulthood. He has pale skin, slim feature and long, dark blue hair which is tied into a long ponytail. As with many mages, Albiero wears a long, pale robe, he appearing to be sharp-dressed, wearing a suit that is not entirely visible beneath the robe. What can be seen shows dark clothing that covers his neck, worn beneath a white shirt. His pants are a similar dark hue, with black boots.

In the Third War Against the Mage of the Beginning, set years prior to the start of UQ Holder, Albireo Imma was a participant fighting along side of Negi Springfield and their friends. Despite having eliminated the Mage of the Beginning, Albireo was supposedly among the resulting casualties in the said war.

As described by Nagumo while explaining Touta's Magia Erebea, it seems that Albireo was, at least for a short time, a member, if not a founding member, of UQ Holder or was at least confederated with them for a while. He is also the creator of the Gravity Blade used by Touta.
Negi Springfield Arc[]
Albireo appears along with Negi's group, who is under the influence of the Mage of the Beginning. During the confrontation with UQ Holder, Albireo takes Touta into a vision of the past to show him 'everything'.
It is revealed that when he fought alongside Negi against the Mage of the Beginning, he was corrupted by her and became its puppet, explaining why he is currently fighting alongside a possessed Negi.[1]

Master Mage: Albireo Imma is an immensely powerful mage said to rival the abilities of Evangeline A.K. McDowell.[2]
- Gravity Magic: Albireo is a renowned master of gravity magic.
- Spelaion Mikron Bary Melan
小さく黒く重い洞 , Supēraion Mikuron Baryu Meran): A black orb is summoned on a target which then spirals as it grows bigger. The spell is used to render the target immobile.[3]
- Spelaion Mikron Bary Melan
- Memory Sharing Spell: He can summon a black orb to suck in a target and transport them into the targets memories. It was used against Touta in order to show him the memories of the past regarding Negi.
- Necromancy: He is able to animate and control the living dead. He used this against Santa Sasaki.
